| This 84 year old woman had been raped and beaten in her down town Tucson home. She did not want her face to be shown so she was photographed as a profile against the window. She was photographed as she recounted her attack for a story in The Tucson Citizen Newspaper in 1985. I would imagine she is not around anymore but her image survives to keep her story of being alone, vulnerable and a victim of a violent society. Her attacker was arrested and in prison at the time of the story. | ||||||||||
