YOU GOTTA SEE THIS : In conjunction with Etherton Gallery, photographers Jeff Smith and A. T. Willett have the first Fine Art photographic show dedicated entirely to Severe Weather Fine Art Photography. With the Help of Photographic Works in Tucson we have digitally re-mastered our very best lightning and severe weather images from the past 25 years of chasing severe storms, using the just released Hasselblad Flextight X5 scanner. Many of the images were originally captured on Fuji Velvia and Kodak films using Nikon and Hasselblad cameras. These re-mastered files are printed on the D'Vinci/Roland Hi-Fi Jet Printer, using 12 individual archival inks, 5 are blacks of which 4 are Cone inks. The Cone inks are carbon based which in addition to better print quality, increases print longevity up to 300 years. Bob Kray and Wade Johnson from Deadwood Framing are putting it all together with ebony walnut frames, archival mounting, and all the perfect touches. We would also like to ad special thanks to the local National Weather Service and the Weather Channel for up to the minute forecasting for as long we have been chasing storms.
