Time

Time is Money?
Time is money some people say but time only has apparent value, it cannot be bought, sold, traded or stored. Time only has value based upon how you use the time allotted to your lifeline. If you use your time taking the steps to your own personal destiny then you are maximizing this apparent value of time. If you spend your time on the rivers shore watching the most important opportunities in your life float by then you are wasting your time. If you still believe money is worth more than your time you may not have reached the realization stage yet.
What do I need a bucket for?

Your life time is a measured time interval, it has a beginning middle and end. This time interval began the day you were born and will end the day you die, at this point you are somewhere in the middle. This interval of time representing your life is like caring a leaky bucket of water. Time is represented by the water. You have just one bucket to carry along your entire life time. The leak in the bottom of your bucket is allowing your time to run out. You do not know how far you will have to travel with your bucket, how fast the water is leaking, or most important, how full was the bucket when you began your journey. Look down at the bucket in your hand to see how much time remains.
How much time do you have?

My Bucket is always full: Many people act as if their bucket is always full to the top. They think about everything they want to do with their life, they are just waiting around for their winning lottery number to come up, then they can start living their dream. "I got my lucky ticket, now I can kickback on the couch to see what is on the Springer show today." Look back in time a few days or weeks and think about how you have used your time. Are you happy with the choices you have made?
Killed Instantly: The words killed instantly come to mind when I think about the concept of time. The newspaper or TV news always refers to different accidents or stories where people were fatally injured as, "the victims were killed instantly". Whether it was a gunshot, plane crash, or bad automobile accident, the idea that these people died instantly is supposed to make us feel better. At least they did not suffer people would say. In this concept it is not so important how these people died on their final day, but what is important is how did these people choose to live? How full was their bucket of time when they walked out the door that morning, could they smell the Gardenias on the tree near their front door, did they tell their intimate bonded partner just how much they loved them? Did they talk with their child or give them a kiss before they left the house? Did they have a smile on their face as they headed off to work, more importantly were they living their life to the fullest, cherishing ever day of life as if it were their last? Do you think they walked out the door that morning realizing they would never come home again? Never to eat or sleep or have a conversation with another human being? Do you think they had plans for tomorrow? What had they put off until tomorrow? What words were in their thoughts, which would never be spoken? What actions or gestures were they saving for tomorrow?
What are your plans for tomorrow?
Today is the day!: Most likely, you will not know when your life will end, but let's flip this situation around 180 degrees, will anyone know for certain the day they will choose to start living their life? When do you want to start living your life? Next Friday or the Monday following that business trip you have to take out of town. Wait a minute let me check my iphone schedule, maybe I can fit this living my life concept in a week from Tuesday, I have some free time then. Today can be the day you start living your life! It is all up to you. When do you choose to start living the life you desire? How much time remains in that leaky bucket you have in your hand? What do you really want to say to people? How do you want to connect with others? Reach out to others? Who do you want to become tomorrow that you can start working on today?
How will you use your time today? Tomorrow?
