Your Desire

Understanding Desire
Desire provides motivation in life. It is the catalyst or energy, that keeps you moving forward toward your goals and the life of your dreams. An internal instinct based on survival, desire helps motivate you to search, acquire, and consume the necessary ingredients for living. There are many messages in our society today which will create desire, but creating true desire is based upon evolving your personality and your soul

An example of desire, I am hungry, I must eat, so it is my desire to find food. You will search for food, acquire food and then eat. You will have choices about what kind of foods you desire and the associated difficulty in acquiring these foods. If you combine desire with hunger eventually you will have something to eat.

This instinct to fulfill desire is an essential part of your thought process. Desire and passion work together. Your passions form a vision in your mind of what you want and think you need to be happy in life. Desire motivates or energizes every step you take on your pathway to fulfill these needs. If you do not have desire you will not have the motivation for forward motion in your life. Without desire there will be a void or emptiness in your life. True desire comes from your heart, it is not an advertisement you see on TV telling you how to live your life or how to feel fulfilled and happy. True desire is uniquely within yourself.
