What is a Passion Junkie?

By definition, passion is a strong intense feeling for a person place thing or action, but its not a definition you seek. It is a life, a dream, your every desire. You want what you deserve in life, you want what you work so hard to accomplish, you want to live the little dream you keep stored deep inside your mind. The concept of becoming a passion junkie is to create a personal vision based upon reality, which will create a pathway to your own personal destiny. This "personal destiny" will be your dream, your vision, the passion junkie life concepts will help you to shape this personal vision and your purpose in life. Shatter the illusion that society has offered and begin to ask questions, who am I, why am I here, what can I do in my lifetime? When you align yourself with the needs of your inner core being (heart mind soul) you will tap this energy of passion stored deep within you since the day you were born. Once aligned with your true passions in life, the pathway to your personal destiny will evolve your personality and soul.

Where did the name Passion Junkie come from?

The name Passion Junkie was an idea I came up with while trying think up a few bumper stickers to help promote this book I was writing. I thought it made a great name for a book about living a passion filled life. It was simple, easy to remember, and people are familiar with the term. The other bumper sticker idea was Empower Wonderment, which became the final chapter of the book. To empower wonderment means to combine everything you have learned from the book, with everything you have learned in life and to create something (its up to you) really wonderful with this knowledge.

If I have only one passion in my life that I do all of the time am I already a Passion Junkie?

It is great you have been able to identify one of your passions, but one of the most important concepts of being a passion junkie is creating balance in your life. Multiple passions pulling on your central core will keep you centered and balanced. The pull of one very strong passion will create an out of balance cycle in your life. Out of balance, like when the clothes in a washing machine get to one side and throw the whole machine off balance. Have you ever talked with a person who only has one passion in life? Was it a very broad conversation?

Is religion compatible with becoming a Passion Junkie?

Yes, being a Passion Junkie has nothing to do with religion. As long as what you believe will not infringe on the rights and freedom of others. Some of the Passion Junkie concepts closely resemble common themes and beliefs of the entire human race.

What are the rules to becoming a Passion Junkie?

This is not a book of rules, we have plenty of rules in our society already. Some of these concepts will make sense to you in your life and some will not. If you can gather the concepts which you find important inside of yourself, let them transform your thoughts from the inside out. These new thoughts will then become your own concepts. You will decide what is important for your own life.

Is a Passion Junkie a person who is obsessed with passion?

No creating balance, growth and reality are important concepts therefore obsession is not part of being a Passion Junkie. The name Passion Junkie originates from passion, meaning strong intense feelings and emotional connections, for a person, place, thing, or action. Junkie meaning, the level of value, need, and commitment you place on finding and living your passions. Not to the extent you sell everything you own to buy Beanie Babies. Remember balance.
