The buildings do not matter.
The twin towers are just symbols of the largest city in America. They are gone
and whatever they build on the site there will always be something missing,
never fitting the concept in your mind of the New York skyline these new
buildings will not look like they belong. Why? Because the twin towers
are symbols of America, symbols of 9/11, symbols that life is not as simple
as it used to be, symbols that 3000 hard working men and women can die
in America in a couple of hours because other men filled their hearts with
hatred and anger.
These symbols of America are not the foundation of America. We are great builders,
anything we can think in our minds and feel in our hearts we can build. If
you want to build something to fill this void in the New York Skyline, if you
want to build something to honor the people who lost their lives, if you want
to build something to fill this hole in the heart of America you need to think
beyond the tallest skyscraper, think beyond a memorial to honor 3000 lost lives,
think beyond where we stand now as a country as a people, think beyond today
and build something that will change the world tomorrow.
Build a world without war, build a world without hatred, ignorance, injustice,
build a world without hunger and pain, and while your at it build a building
to remember 3000 people who lit the pathway to show you which way to go.
The buildings do not matter, what is in your heart, your mind?
What do you want to build?

This gets
to be the part of the foundation for the concept of building a world without
war.
I finally
started a new group on Myspace called World Without War in October 2006
it is an open group and already has 75 people who have joined so far in
a few days! Maybe you should join us to change the future of the world?
