The Structure of Peace

MORE ABOUT ME

What makes me happy in this life I call mine? Fresh air, the ocean, the mountains, snow, trees blowing in the wind. The awesome force of nature, severe storms, lightning, tornados and sometimes just pure tranquility. Meeting interesting new people, learning new things, teaching people new things. Adventure of any kind. Setting out on a journey with, no plan, just go and let fate be my guide.

Creating great photographs, which have value to others and myself. All types of Art, as long as its good, Angel by Marc Chagall, Starry Night Vincent van Gogh, Juan Miro, Claude Monet. I can not forget “In The Meadow” by Renoir, I felt like I was there when I saw that painting too long ago now, hanging on the wall at the MET, that painting was truly alive. Dance movement shape color design pattern light shadow. French movies. Women with accents. Intelligent women! A chocolate Bagel from Bagel Nosh in Santa Monica. Calm ocean at sunrise. The wind in my hair. The sound of a beating heart, cool rain on my skin when its hot.

Chocolate chip raw cookie dough. The smell of a great forest. A big powerful river which meanders along the pathway I travel. Mountain biking, road biking, scuba diving, the only sport I know where you are actually in it and the 3D movement like flying. Gavi, back when Gavi actually used to cook. Snowboarding mountain glider, fast but not crazy, and the silence of fresh white powder.

A smile from a stranger. Brigadoon and a magical bridge I know is still out on the next horizon. Music which can instill a feeling of a deep connection to another’s reality, throw in a piano, a breathy voice maybe a violin cello oboe guitar or harmonic organ and you have the makin's of a song for me. Helping people work on their dreams and achieve their goals. Betty and Zorg piano scene (movie). Laughter, knowing, and the golden light that paints the end of another day. Most of all, making a difference one step one decision at a time.

These thoughts are the core of who I am. I want to be more than I can imagine, there is so much more to life as I stand here today I can not even see the place where I will stand tomorrow. The pathway which forms beneath my feet is liquid, shimmering with beautiful light and color, it transforms itself with every decision I make. I love my life and this great journey I am on.

Life, passion, thought and beauty........ Tom
